[Darin is just...standing there, carrying Shiro. He looks down at his unconscious friend, but as Lucio gets closer, he can probably tell that his gaze is a thousand yards away. More importantly, as bad as Shiro looks? Darin looks about ten times worse. His clothes are scorched, shredded and covered in dirt and blood. There's evidence that he's been cut and stabbed at least two dozen times, but those wounds are already in the process of healing. If they're not totally gone, their only sign that they even existed are thin lines of scabs, like one would get after a paper cut almost heals up.]

[He looks up as Lucio approaches.]

We have to take him somewhere. Somewhere safe.

[it's much, much worse than lúcio had imagined. he hadn't figured darin to have accelerated healing, but it's not what he's thinking of right now. darin isn't actively bleeding out and even if he was, lúcio has his healing beats on.]

[the way he came in... it's clear, at least. lúcio hadn't run into much trouble. he has to stop himself from pumping up the power of the amplifier; if he keeps it down low then it can start to work on the more fleshy injuries. things like bones need to be set properly first.]
